Robert Panther

Since Robert was old enough to explore the woods and waters of their family farm in the hills of southeast Iowa he has been in awe of the natural world. What a gift we have been given! In his early teen years his father passed on to him his old Kodak 35mm camera, a hand held light meter, and a roll ofKodak Pan-X black and white film The die was cast. Here he combines these two lifelong passions, his love of the outdoors and his love of photography.

Many of his photographs are from snowshoe and back country ski excursions, or solo canoe tripping through wilderness areas of the northern U.S. and Canada. He has had his work published and has won awards both locally and regionally.

“There are those who can live without wild things and there are those who cannot.”
